Scope

What the work involves

WhatsApp is where your customers — and your operators — already are. We build AI-powered bots on the WhatsApp Business platform that answer sales enquiries instantly, qualify leads, book appointments, and follow up automatically. On the factory side, the same channel becomes an alarm bridge: when a machine faults at 2 a.m., the right engineer gets the message in seconds, with the context to act. One integration, two jobs — faster sales response at the front of the business, faster fault response at the back.

In detail

How we approach it

What the engagement actually looks like on your site, start to finish.

Meeting people where they are

In India, WhatsApp is not a marketing channel bolted onto the business — it is where the business already happens. Enquiries arrive there, suppliers coordinate there, and shift supervisors sort problems out there. Building on it means no new app for anyone to learn.

That familiarity cuts both ways. Because it is a personal space, a bot that behaves like a broadcast tool gets blocked quickly. What works is fast, useful, and easy to escape from.

Knowing when to hand over

The most important design decision is when the bot stops. Automation is good at answering the same eight questions, capturing a requirement, and booking a slot. It is bad at pricing an unusual job or handling somebody who is annoyed.

We build an explicit handover: the bot recognises what it cannot do, passes the conversation to a person with the history attached, and stops. A visible route to a human on every step is what keeps people using it.

The same channel for plant alarms

The infrastructure that answers a customer at midday can page an engineer at 2 a.m. When a machine faults, the alarm goes to the person on call with the machine, the fault, and the recent context — not a code that means nothing away from the HMI.

Escalation matters as much as delivery. If the first engineer does not acknowledge within an agreed window, it moves to the next, so a missed message does not become a missed night.

Common questions

Will customers know it is a bot?
Yes, and they should. Pretending otherwise annoys people and breaks trust the moment it slips. We make the automation clearly useful and put a visible route to a person on every step.
What can it not handle?
Anything needing judgement — unusual pricing, complaints, technical scoping. Those are designed as handovers rather than as gaps, so the conversation moves to a person with the history attached.
Do we need the official WhatsApp Business API?
For anything beyond a single phone, yes. It brings verification, template approval and message limits, which is why we handle setup as part of the work rather than leaving it with you.
Can alarms and sales run on one number?
They can, but usually should not. Separate numbers keep an operational alarm from landing in a customer thread, and let the two be monitored by different people.
